BRUTTUS begins with a piece of meteorite. Its dark surface, its weight, the fine lines within the metal. Those details give us somewhere to start.
We make jewelry for people who want to know what they are wearing. Collection 001 brings Gibeon meteorite, Akoya pearls, and 925 sterling silver together in three pieces: a bracelet, a necklace, and a pair of earrings.
The material comes first
Gibeon meteorite is found in Namibia. Its intersecting pattern formed as the metal cooled slowly in space. The lines belong to the material, so their appearance changes from bead to bead.
We leave space around those details. A simple chain, a clear proportion, enough restraint to let you see the surface.
Why pearl?
Place a pale Akoya pearl beside dark meteorite and the character of both becomes clearer. The pearl catches a softer light. The meteorite feels more textured. Silver connects them without adding another color.
The bracelet contains 4 Gibeon meteorite beads and 2 Akoya pearls; the necklace contains 6 and 3. The complete pair of earrings contains 2 meteorite beads and 2 Akoya pearls.
A small first collection
BRUTTUS is an independent jewelry brand based in Düsseldorf, Germany, exploring the contrast between materials born in space and those formed on Earth. We assemble and finish our pieces in small batches, working with the natural variation of the materials. The photographs show the design; your piece will have its own small differences.

Collections and numbered drops
A collection explores a material and design concept. A drop is a distinct production release within it. Collection 001: Pearl begins with Drop 001: 50 pieces across three designs. BRUTTUS Set 001 brings all three designs together using components reserved from that allocation. Future drops may revisit the same designs.
